In my role on the Finance Talent Development team, I focused on creating targeted content that prioritized the needs of our audience. Following the "Audience Before Content" (ABC) approach, I ensured that all communications were tailored to meet the specific interests and requirements of our stakeholders. A key part of my responsibilities involved producing a monthly newsletter that highlighted hot topics across various areas of finance. To ensure the newsletter was relevant and engaging, I led planning meetings with colleagues to gather insights from their respective fields. This newsletter was distributed to over 5,000 finance professionals, including executive directors, serving as a vital tool for keeping stakeholders informed about current financial trends and updates. I also played a crucial role in transforming the finance learning website into a modern, user-friendly platform. This involved translating and updating outdated content to create a one-stop-shop for financial trainings and resources. The website was designed to be easily manageable and accessible, providing a streamlined experience for users. Additionally, I executed a comprehensive rebranding of the website, aligning it with the company's updated brand identity. This involved ensuring consistency across all platforms and reinforcing the brand's refreshed image. Furthermore, I collaborated with colleagues to format and distribute targeted corporate emails to specific audiences, tailoring content to meet the needs of different groups and ensuring effective communication. By consistently applying the ABC tactic and executing these projects, I enhanced financial knowledge sharing and internal communications within the Finance organization to excite and continue the drive of Finance leaders.

responsibilities...

My responsibilities on this team included creating a monthly newsletter focused on finance learning to help accountants and other finance-related employees stay up-to-date on licenses and other relevant topics. I was responsible for everything from the design to collaborating with colleagues to brainstorm key topics for each issue. The newsletter was distributed through a cloud-based email platform called Poppulo, with design work done in Photoshop.

In addition to the newsletter, I developed a digital resource hub called the Finance Academy. This served as a one-stop destination for all finance-related resources, regularly updated with live training sessions, recorded content, and a review plan to assess employees' existing workplace skills.

As part of these initiatives, I also supported campaign engagement for the website launch by creating a digital scavenger hunt called the Finance Glow Up Challenge. Furthermore, I developed a digital badge (shown below) to encourage learners to participate in the Skills @ Scale program, where participants assess their current skills in order to engage more deeply with available learning resources.

I developed this website to centralize learning resources and futureproof finance employees' skills. Collaborating with leadership, I conducted UX research with nearly 50 participants, refining the platform for an optimal user experience all within brand guidelines and a new company rebranding. My role also involved designing digital content and improving accessibility to support professional growth.

My primary role to produce visual imagery representations for product and promos that were ready to be launched in this tool. I sourced imagery and formatted files to align with brand guidelines and managed naming conventions for the server to recognize file types in the application.
